Fenghuang means phoenix, and this old river town in Hunan has stood in wood and stone for over 300 years, stilt houses leaning over the water, wooden boats drifting across a river the colour of jade. Which is why we've turned our photography into a painterly illustration for this design.
Printed in a soft sage wash with the river running through in jade green, and the town's name in brushstroke calligraphy across the front.
Roomy enough for a passport, powerbank and cables, but be prepared to get asked where you got it. It happens to us a lot.
